ABOUT THE PHOTOBOOTH

How It works:

The photo booth includes the photobooth guru, Kokia Sparis, and an assistant, who work together to take, process, and display the images, and guide the participants through the booth. Equipment includes a medium format camera, professional lighting, and a 9 foot wide backdrop. The backdrop and lights create a neutral environment to highlight the character and appearance of the guests.

The end product is a set of full frame commercial quality Polaroids, which measure

3.38” x 4.25”. Different polaroid packages include 60-200+ images. The poloroid images capture detail in black & white tones in an exceedingly clear and perfect way. They are archival and may be collected together, in a book, or framed individually. They can also be given away as party favors.

I shoot from one to two hundred polaroids, depending upon the crowd, which takes place over several hours during the course of the event. The images are one of a kind and very memorable for those who attend your wedding or party.

It’s a hit…

The photo booth is an amazing hit. There is a magical quality to the amount of delight and honesty inspired in the guests before the camera. It is as if the photobooth has a life of it’s own, often becoming a central feature of events and parties. At times, especially at large parties, there have been lines upward of one hundred people talking and laughing as they waited in line to have their picture taken. It is often the highlight of the party.
